Thai Massage
This holistic body massage helps to reestablish the inner flow and circulation of Prana (life energy) to restore the natural harmony and balance between the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Through Acupressure, loosening and stretching techniques, and meditative breathing, the body’s vital energy is stimulated from the outside and the inside. Gentle pressure is applied with the fingers, hands, feet, elbows and knees along the body’s Nadis, or main energy lines, to eliminate blocks, recover flexibility, and promote deep relaxation.
Shiatsu (Japanese, from Shi, meaning finger, and atsu, pressure)
A 50-minute Oriental massage in which the fingers are used to exercise pressure on the body’s energy channels – energy meridians (the same as those of Acupuncture); applied on a massage table.
